Project 3 Concept

1.             How does the current form serve the product?
This is a new product.
2.             Does the current form waste materials (think negative spaces that are not being used in the diecut)? How?
well oppose to other competitors they use boxes  big and bulky.
3.             Is there a new way to give form for this product using less materials without skimping on volume or weight?
yes, which is what I'm doing.
4.             What is the current material and is it sustainable?
usually a think card stock paper has enough to hold the soap.
5.             Is there a new material which would better serve the product conceptually?  Environmentally?  You should do some preliminary research into other materials:materials I'm using is unbleached recycled paper, hemp, and organic ink.
6.             Given a new form, how might the graphics change?
the design on my product has changed dramatically from other designs

Final product Concept

My idea here is to have the soap be organic not only that but the paper around is is unbleached paper, with organic ink so they are not harmful to the environment. and the hemp is to sew the paper together taking away glue and other harmful material.
Also when you buy this soap there is a "green ticket" that comes with it that send you to this website. so it get the consumer interactive with the product. and then when they reach the website they put in the special code which then means they plant a tree.
So buying organic thing to help the world which in turn helps the world buy planting a tree.

3 of the Good & Bad Packaging

The Bad
This packaging is bad because
you waste so much by
individualizing the bananas.
its not very eco friendly
single wrapping of a prune

I really dislike
clam shell packaging
One its always so difficult to open
One time a got a huge cut trying to
open the darn thing, the plastic is
to durable its too durable.

The Good
Puma made this box die cut
out that i found to be really
interesting.  Its  very
 eco-friendly, at the cardboard
is recycleable and the bag
you can use to hold the shoes.
This box is beautiful.
the packaging on this just
makes you want to grab it.
Its a laser cut out box over
a blue box.

One this is just plain funny.
I also like the detailed text
on the sides of the soap.
All around a fun organic
clean product and its packaging
says it all.
